Doug Hayter - Chief Executive Officer
Doug practised as a lawyer for over 15 years, before founding a commercial litigation funding firm, Ironbark Funding. Ironbark Funding has been awarded service provider of the year by Australasian Lawyer in 2021 and 2023. Doug has used his experience as a lawyer and commercial funder to establish AXS Funding and provide disbursement funding to personal injury lawyers.
Doug is passionate about supporting firms and their clients to prosecute claims and provide a brighter future for their clients and their families.
He practised in the personal injury sector. He understands the challenges lawyers face and goes above and beyond to add value at all stages of the claim process.
Committed to providing the best service to AXS’s law firms, Doug works collaboratively with principals, financial controllers and office managers to streamline the funding process.
Doug holds a Bachelor of Arts and Law (Hons) and lives in Sydney with his family.

Wei-Khing Seow - Director
In Wei-Khing's Director role at AXS Funding, he brings deep legal finance knowledge with unique capability to access, create and execute opportunities across the entire capital and investment structure in both private and public markets. Additionally, he contributes his experience from having assisted the portfolio management of A$1.5bn global investment fund, executive roles across various functions and industries.
He has a strong philosophy in allocating capital and living in a sustainable manner, with his goal of leaving this planet, from all angles of ESG, in a better position than when he entered. AXS Funding and Orington Capital are key contributors to him reaching his goal.
Wei-Khing Seow also leads Orington Capital, a legal financier deploying capital globally, with an established and successful long term track record. He additionally has 20+ years of experience in global equities, REITs, private credit, managed funds and parts of the derivative markets.
He holds a Bachelor of Business Degree and lives in Sydney with his family.
